Kalc's calculation engine runs on your Mac. The product requirements prohibit calculation tracking and remote analytics.

In the app

Your keystrokes and calculations are not sent to a remote calculation service. Documents and scratchpad state are stored locally. Currency-rate updates may use a network connection when enabled.

On this website

The browser preview evaluates on your device. Its text is not sent to us or saved after you leave. This website does not use analytics cookies or session replay. Hosting providers may process ordinary request data needed to deliver the site.

Future services

Any future AI assistant, account, or sync service will need its own clear data-handling terms before it is enabled.
